A 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were spotted at a property on Lewis Road in New Haven shortly after 7 p.m. BST on Friday.
A 64-year-old man from Brighton is in custody.
...Police said they had not conducted any other searches related to the incident.
A portion of the Lewis Road Cemetery adjacent to the home in question has been cordoned off. Detective Detective Kimball Eady said, "We are in the early stages of this fast-paced investigation following a tragic incident that sadly lost two lives.
"This is a matter of concern to the community. and we understand that the police presence in the area will be strengthened for the time being."
"I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while we resolve the situation."
