Three arrested after protest at Merseyside asylum seeker hotel

 A police van was set ablaze after a convention against displaced people and a counter-fight by supportive of traveler bunches occurred close to the Suites Lodging, Knowsley.


Police said rockets were tossed at officials however there were no wounds.
Dissenters and counter-nonconformists accumulated at the lodging in the Ribblers Path region at 18:30 GMT, they added.

She added that counter-dissidents had been "blockaded in a vehicle leave".
"We were stuck there for a very long time, while the police were battling in various regions.
"I was truly terrified for us, I was truly scared for individuals in the inn. These are individuals who have come from disaster areas. I can't envision how unnerving it would be for them."The three individuals who were captured have been taken to police headquarters for address.
A man who was remaining at the lodging when the fights broke out said individuals were "crying and languishing" during the viciousness.
The man from East Africa, who had been obliged at Suites Inn for the beyond seven months and didn't have any desire to be named, told Dad news: "It was copying and everyone on the planet was supplicating.

Colleague Boss Constable Paul White said the episode was "totally unsuitable" and put "those present, our officials and the more extensive local area at serious risk".
"For officials and police vehicles to be harmed over their obligation safeguarding the general population is shameful," he said.
