Labour's Ashley Dalton has won the West Lancashire by-election.

 The vote was set off when Work veteran Rosie Cooper, who addressed the seat for quite a long time, surrendered in November.

Work was broadly expected to easily hold the seat, having facilitated to triumph by 8,336 votes in the 2019 general political race.
The outcome, declared in the early long periods of Friday, was Work's third by-political race triumph lately.
