Huge alligator captured in a lake in a New York park.

The reptile - which has supposedly been nicknamed Godzilla - was spotted on Sunday morning by staff in Brooklyn's Possibility Park.

They reached the recreation area's specialists, who then, at that point, caught the gator in the recreation area's lake. It was subsequently taken to the Bronx Zoo.
Crocs are local toward the south-east of the US, in warm-environment states like Florida and Louisiana.
On... Sunday, temperatures in New York arrived at highs of 9C (48.2F).

New York City Stops, the expert responsible for the city's green spaces, said the creature was in an unfortunate condition, "exceptionally dormant and perhaps cold stunned" when it was found.
It isn't known the way that the croc came to be in the lake yet the authority has cautioned occupants not to deliver creatures into the city's parks, which it said was unlawful.

Nobody was hurt by the croc, which is being "assessed", New York City Parks said.
Close by the "expected risk" of allowing creatures to go in the city's parks, non-native natural life can "lead to the disposal of local species and undesirable water quality", the authority said.

Every year, Metropolitan Park Officers across the city answer around 500 reports including creatures, New York City Parks said.
