Explosions hit two military airfields in Russia - reports

A fuel big hauler detonated killing three and harming six in a landing strip close to the city Ryazan, south-east of Moscow, Russian state media is revealing.

One more two individuals are accounted for to have been harmed in a blast at a runway in the Saratov locale.

It isn't understood what caused the impacts. The two regions are many kilometers from the Ukrainian line.

Long-range Russian vital aircraft are accepted to be based at the Engels airbase in the Saratov district.

The Saratov local lead representative said security powers were checking what he called "reports of an occurrence at army bases".

These reports - of two blasts at two distinct military destinations - will fuel the hypothesis that Ukraine might be behind them, Russian proofreader Steven Rosenberg says.

The impacts come after satellite pictures were delivered last week seeming to show expanded military airplane action at the Engels airbase.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been educated regarding the two detailed occurrences, Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov said.

Requested to remark on the two blasts, Mr. Peskov told his media preparation on Monday that he didn't have data about the occurrences and had just seen media reports about them.

In the meantime, Ukraine has said that Russia has sent off another rush of rocket strikes on the country, with air alarms announced in Kyiv and in many locales.
