Off-duty police officer shot at a sports complex in Omagh, Northern Ireland.

 There are unverified reports that he was hit on different occasions on the Killyclogher Street at around 20:00 GMT.


He is being treated at Altnagelvin Region Emergency clinic in Londonderry.
Police Administration of Northern Ireland Boss Constable Simon Byrne said he was "stunned and disheartened" by the occasions.
"We will steadily seek after those capable," he tweeted.
Ulster Unionist gathering part Tom Elliott said the shooting had occurred "before youngsters at football training meeting".


He said it was a "wretched and horrendous act".
The Northern Ireland Emergency vehicle Administration said it got a call about the taking shots at Youth Game Omagh at 20:00 GMT.Sinn Féin representative pioneer Michelle O'Neill said it was an "ridiculous and despicable assault".
Vote based Unionist pioneer Sir Jeffrey Donaldson censured the "weaklings answerable for this".
"I wholeheartedly sentence this unpardonable endeavor to kill a cop," she said.

Previous equity pastor and Union pioneer Naomi Long said her contemplations were with those impacted by this "abhorrent demonstration of weakness".


SDLP pioneer Colum Eastwood, MP, said it was a "chilling assault on a singular serving his community".The Northern Ireland Secretary, Chris Heaton-Harris, said that "those liable for such ghastliness should be dealt with".

The Irish Pastor for International concerns, Micheál Martin, said he was "stunned and horrified" by the shooting.
