Entertainer Alec Baldwin will be accused of compulsory murder over the shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed on a film set when he shot a prop firearm.
Baldwin had been practicing a scene for the Western film Rust while the shooting ...occurred at a farm close to Sante Fe, New Mexico in October 2021.
Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the film's armorer, will likewise be accused of compulsory murder.
Neither have remarked on the charges.
On Thursday, St Nick Fe's Head prosecutor Mary Carmack-Altwies declared in an explanation that charges would be documented against the pair before the month's over.
"Entertainer and maker Alec Baldwin and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will each be accused of two counts of compulsory murder," the assertion read. "After an exhaustive survey of the proof... I have established that there is adequate proof."
"On my watch, nobody is exempt from the rules that everyone else follows, and everybody merits equity," she said.
